Car Hire Prices are quoted in Botswana Pula (P).  Rates include: Unlimited Kilometers, 100% Collision Damage Waiver, 100% Theft Loss Waiver.  Personal Accident Insurance, Windscreen Breakage cover, Maps, Free Delivery and Collection Service within 30km radius of an AVIS office, Sales Tax.  (80% Waiver rates available on request).  Rates exclude Fuel, additional driver fees (P50 per driver).  

Minimum rental age
23 years 
21 years if in possession of a Diner's Club or American Express credit card

Overborder Rentals

Vehicles may be taken into:

• South Africa (Gauteng only)

• Namibia (Windhoek only)

• Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls only) - A letter of authority for cross border rentals must be requested at the time of rental.  If this is not obtained, neither Zulinyati Safaris nor AVIS will be held responsible if you are refused entry at the border. 

• A Government entry permit must be obtained PRIOR to entry into Zimbabwe.

* This permit costs P350 and must be paid directly to AVIS on receipt of the vehicle.  
*  NO vehicles may be left in Zimbabwe and must be returned to Botswana, South Africa or Namibia, at the applicable one-way rental charges.  *  Vehicles may be delivered to and/or collected from Victoria Falls at a cost of P175 (in addition to P350 for entry permit) 

• Under NO circumstances may vehicles be taken into

• Angola

• Malawi

• Mozambique

One Way Rentals

Special Equipment

• Roof Racks = P75 per rental

• Trailers = P75 per day

• Driver for Group N (4X4) = P200 per day

Minimum Rental Period

• Three days

Extensions: charge per day in excess of the voucher value
